LIF - Lighting Controls Guide
The LIF LECAP (Lighting Electronics Controls Application Panel) are in the process of developing a range of tools to promote the use of lighting controls more widely, whether it is lighting controls applied to individual luminaries, specific areas of a building or to building wide systems.
The initial set of tools will comprise a Guide to Lighting Controls, a mini-guide version and a 1 day training course based on the main Guide.
The mini-guide is available now and has been loaded to the "Lighting Controls Guide" tab of the LIF website as a downloadable document. The main Guide will be loaded to that tab in the next week or so as a reference document. The training course is expected to be completed early next year and information will be published at that stage.
The LIF LECAP group will continue to develop further tools with regard to lighting controls to further promote the many benefits that the use of them can bring to users, including significant energy and CO2 reductions
