Lighting the Olympic Games

The IET, as a partner of the Olympic Delivery Authority's (ODA) Learning Legacy Programme, have a free to attend evening event in London discussing Lighting the Olympic Games.

This active panelled discussion from the stakeholders of the ODA on the innovative lighting design over the life of the programme.

With renewable powering methodologies close to the centre of the lighting programmes, briefings will be received on the lighting design (including mini wind turbines and photovoltaics implementation, lux levels, lamp types, energy consumption and generation, impact on wildlife) and lighting towers by prefabrication at ground level and lifting in place to avoid working at height.
